Community Centre Hosts Free Halloween Cinema

Swaffham Community Centre brought local children and their families together this week for a special Halloween Cinema event during half-term. The event, funded by Breckland Council and supported by Tesco, featured a screening of 'The Nightmare Before Christmas' as well as pizza, popcorn and snacks. There was also a prize presented to Fred for the best costume - an alien on his back !

The film was screened in the Bishop Room (the Community Centre's new SEND Friendly Room), making use of the room's acoustic panelling and mood lighting to create the perfect halloween atmosphere.

Iceni Partnership, the charity running the Centre, was pleased to be able to put on this free event for families to enjoy some half-term. The charity plans to enhance its provision for children and young people going forwards.
